The Vistula mouth fortress in Gdańsk - suggestion for stabilisation of the walls of the Artillery Bastion

Abstract

W pracy przedstawiono koncepcję ścian Bastionu Artyleryjskiego. Poważnie uszkodzona i zdeformowana murowana budowla spoczywa na zanurzonych w wodzie drewnianych skrzyniach. Stan drewna skrzyń jest zły i nie gwarantuje dalszej bezpiecznej eksploatacji obiektu. Dla ratowania budowli zaproponowano podparcie jej rzędami wciskanych w podłoże pali.
