Biography
Ryszard Woźniak received his M.Sc. (1984) from the Lublin University of Technology specializing in Cars and Tractors. In 2002, at the Gdansk University of Technology he defended his doctoral thesis on: "Tyre/road noise when large longitudinal forces are applied in tyre/road contact patch" and obtained a doctorate degree in technical sciences in the field of construction and operation of machines.
Currently he is an adjunct at the Department of Machine Design and Motor Vehicles at the Vehicle Division at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Gdansk University of Technology. His scientific and engineering interests are focused on: vehicle noise, tyre/road noise, as well as the design, construction and testing of trailers for tyre/road noise and tyre/road rolling resistance measurements.

He teaches subjects devoted to: ergonomics; motion theory, tests and safety of vehicles and drive system modeling in vehicle design. He can also supervise theses (B.Sc. and M.Sc.) dealing with: drive, braking, steering and suspension vehicle systems as well as prototypes of these systems and vehicles constructing.
