PublicationPoddano analizie symetryczną linię paskową z dwustronnie umieszczoną na płaszczyznach masy strukturą typu UC-PBG (uniplanar compact-photonic bandgap).Zaprojektowano, wykonano i pomierzono sprzęgacz wykonany w oparciu o tego typu prowadnicę. Miniaturyzacja wymiarów układu potwierdziła spodziewany efekt spowolnienia fali wywołany wprowadzeniem struktury UC-PBG.

PublicationRozważono strukturę linii paskowych sprzężonych szerokim bokiem z periodycznie zaburzoną metalizacją masy typu UC-PBG (Uniplanar Compact - Photonic BandGap). W celu oceny przydatności struktury zaprojektowano, wykonano i przebadano sprzęgacz 3dB. Potwierdzono przewidywany efekt spowolnienia fali (slow wave effect), którego konsekwencją jest możliwość znacznej redukcji wymiarów układu.

Compact broadband multi-way 1:6 power divider
PublicationThis paper introduces a design flow of a microstrip multi-way 1:6 power divider incorporating photonic bandgap (PBG) structures. Themethod proposed has enabled the achievement of considerable miniaturization (15%) together with transmission characteristics enhancement(141% bandwidth). Measured results show significant similarity to theoretical characteristics, which proves the attractiveness of presented design methodology.

Szerokopasmowy, zminiaturyzowany sprzęgacz gałęziowy ze zmodyfikowaną metalizacją paska i masy
PublicationZaprojektowano, wykonano i przebadano układ szerokopasmowego czterosekcyjnego sprzegacza gałęziowego. W celu poprawy charakterystyk transmisyjnych oraz redukcji wymiarów zaimplementowano w metalizacji masy struktury DGS (Defected Ground Structure), a w metalizacji paska komórki PBG (Photonic BandGap). Uzyskano znaczną (38%) miniaturyzację powierzchni układu przy zachowaniu szerokiego pasma pracy (47%).
