Results from tests on bolted connection components for evaluation of friction coefficient in various contact conditions
PublicationThe main purpose of the work was the analysis and evaluation of the self-locking quality of a bolted joint covered with Xylan 1070 coating, with comparison to the classic bolts lubricated with Molykote compound during assembly. PublicationThe paper deals with the difference inequalities generated by initial boundary value problems for hyperbolic nonlinear differential functional systems. We apply this result to investigate the stability of constructed difference schemes. The effectivness of fault detection in common rail injectors examination methods
PublicationThe article presents the effectiveness tests of fault detection in common rail injectors. 40 injectors with different wear levels were tested. Testing was made on two test benches of a completely different design. Research includes comparison of accuracy, reproducibility and testability to detect specific defects. Simulation of Residence Time Distribution and Mixing in Reactors with Recirculation Using 2D Approach
PublicationIn this paper, we propose a 2D approach in order to create a mathematical model for the determination of the residence time distribution for a flow reactor with recirculation. Apart from characterizing the functional residence time distribution, this model can help improve the operation of the reactor at the design stage. The mathematical model was validated by comparison with experiments carried out in a hydraulic laboratory.

Retinit im mittleren Geiseltal und in Nordwestsachsen
PublicationEs werden historische fossile Harzfunde, bekannt unter dem Namen Retinit, aus ehemaligen Braunkohlenvorkommen in Nordwestsachsen und dem Geiseltal beschrieben. Die Harzproben aus dem Geiseltal wurden mittels Infrarotspektrometer untersucht. Der Vergleich der Spektren mit Referenzspektren zeigt, dass es sich bei den „historischen“ Harzproben um ein Harz vom Retinit- Typ, den oxidierten Krantzit (Oxikrantzit), handelt.
