PublicationOpisano zagadnienia automatycznej detekcji i identyfikacji osób oraz ich zliczania w pomieszczeniach zamkniętych. Zaproponowano budowę elastycznej aplikacji opartej o usługi webowe. W celu kompozycji zaimplementowanych usług przedstawiono metodę tworzenia aplikacji w oparciu o procesy przepływu pracy. Przedstawiono rezultaty badań eksperymentalnych dla różnych algortymów detekcji i identyfikacji.

PublicationNa przykładzie doliny Wisły w Warszawie przedstawiono metodę wyznaczenia stref zagrożenia powodziowego. Symulowana numerycznie powódź wywołana została potencjalnym przerwaniem obwałowania rzeki w okolicach Saskiej Kępy. Do obliczeń zastosowano opracowany w Katedrze Hydrotechniki Wydziału Inżynierii Lądowej i Środowiska Politechniki Gdańskiej model dwuwymiarowego, płaskiego przepływu wody ze swobodną powierzchnią.

Gospodarka skojarzona w lokalnym systemie grzewczym.
PublicationKompleksowa modernizacja lokalnego systemu grzewczego objęła budowe nowego źródła energii, w ktorym zastosowano gospodarkę skojarzoną. Przebudowano system przesyłowy ciepła do odbiorców oraz system grzewczy w budynkach. Przeprowadzono pełna konwencjonalną termomodernizację, a także wykorzystano odanawialne źródło energii (słonecznej i geotermicznej) do zasilania systemu grzewczego w budynkach jednego z osiedli.

Ponadto przedstawiono schematy ideowe typowych rozwiązań konstrukcyjnych systemów kontrolno-pomiarowych stosowanych w tego typu badaniach.

Płyny biologiczne jako źródło informacji o narażeniu człowieka na środowiskowe czynniki chemiczne
PublicationOrganizm ludzki narażony jest na ekspozycję zanieczyszczeń z otaczającegośrodowiska. W celu określenia stopnia zagrożenia coraz częściej wykonuje siępomiary stężeń substancji chemicznych lub ich metabolitów w płynach biologi-cznych, tj. w moczu, krwi, mleku matki, żółci, ślinie i spermie. Aby stwier-dzić w nich stężenia śladowe należy próbki odpowiednio przygotować.

PublicationW artykule zaprezentowano rezultaty kwantowomechanicznych obliczeń ''ab initio: struktury elektronowej układu PrBa2Cu3O7 zawierającego defekty substytucyjne (Pr_Ba) w podsieci barowo-tlenowej oraz wykazującego zaburzoną stechiometrię tlenową (O5). Badane defekty są odpowiedzialne za redystrybucję ładunku w układzie. Defekty Pr_Ba generują silnie zlokalizowane momenty magnetyczne, które oddziałują głównie na płaszczyzny miedziowo-tlenowe.
