Simplified Distribution Grid Modelling for Connection Analyses
PublicationThis paper considers the modelling of medium and low voltage grids for the purpose of connection studies by distribution grid operators. Possible simplifications in grid modelling are discussed, which are acceptable from the viewpoint of the final result. The main driver of the modelling simplification is the MS Excel environment used as the computation platform, and the limitation of time for grid modelling.

PublicationThe paper presents Msplit estimation as an alternative to methods in the class of robust M-estimation. The analysis conducted showed that Msplit estimation is highly efficient in the identification of observations encumbered by gross errors, especially those of small or moderate values. Newton’s Method for the McKendrick-von Foerster Equation
PublicationIn the paper we study an age-structured model which describes the dynamics of one population with growth, reproduction and mortality rates. We apply Newton’smethod to the McKendrick-von Foerster equation in the semigroup setting. We prove its first- and second-order convergence.
