Sławomir Ostrowski is a research and didactic employee employed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Informatics in Management at the Faculty of Management and Economics of the Gdańsk University of Technology. In 2018, he obtained a PhD in economic sciences in the discipline of management science. A graduate of uniform Master's-engineering studies in Management (specialization: IT Technology Management) at the Faculty of Management and Economics of the Gdańsk University of Technology (2011). From 2013, he was associated with Project Management as part of teaching classes at the Gdańsk University of Technology and activities in the International Association of Project Managers, where he is still the President of the Pomeranian Regional Group of the IPMA Polska. His research interests are focused around Project Management, Service Design, Design Thinking and Smart Cities. Participant of many mainly international conferences and author of scientific publications. A member of the Project Team as part of the European Project "Start_V-AR Project", which focuses on creating a European network in the field of training employees in virtual and augmented reality. He is a fan and expert in the automotive industry in which he works as a Project Manager. He shares his acquired knowledge and experience with students during classes. An active activist in non-profit organizations (he worked, among others, in doctoral and student organizations, Scientific Circles, Associations and many others). Organizer of many seminars, trainings, conferences and congresses on new technologies, project management, Design Thinking and soft skills. Certified Project Manager and Internal Auditor of an integrated management system.
