Development of linear projecting in studies of non-linear flow. Acoustic heating induced by non-periodic sound
PublicationRównanie bilansu energii rozkłada się na sumę dwóch równań, opisujących dynamikę fali akustycznej i wywołanego przez nią ogrzewania. Nowe równanie dynamiczne stosowane jest dla opisu dźwięku nieokresowego zarówno jak okresowego. Rozpatruje się geometrię wiązkową. Omówiane są poszczególne udziały przewodnictwa cieplnego i lepkości w ogrzewaniu akustycznym. Równania stanu ośrodka propagacji są uwzględniane w najbardziej ogólnej postaci.

PublicationStosuje się metodę iteracji monotonicznych opartą na dolnym i górnym rozwiązaniu. Przy jednostronnym warunku Lipschitza uzyskano pewne wyniki dotyczące rozwiązań zwyczajnych równań różniczkowych z całkowym warunkiem brzegowym. Sformułowano warunki dostateczne na istnienie jedynego rozwiązania (lub rozwiązań ekstremalnych) w pewnym segmencie. Podano przykłady ilustrujące przyjęte założenia.

O nieliniowej funkcji f (związanej z zagadnieniem) zakładano jednostronny warunek Lipschitza. Podano pewne zastosowanie otrzymanych wyników. Sformułowano też pewne warunki dotyczące stabilności.

PublicationO funkcjach występujących w zagadnieniu zakładano m.in. warunek typu Perrona uzyskując pewne wyniki porównawcze dla zagadnień różniczkowo-algebraicznych startujących z różnych punktów początkowych. Wyniki porównawcze uzyskano również wykorzystując odpowiednią funkcję typu Lapunova. Sformułowane zostały warunki dostateczne na to aby rozwiązanie było stabilne.

Difference functional inequalities and applications.
PublicationThe paper deals with the difference inequalities generated by initial boundary value problems for hyperbolic nonlinear differential functional systems. We apply this result to investigate the stability of constructed difference schemes. The proof of the convergence of the difference method is based on the comparison technique, and the result for difference functional inequalities is used. Numerical examples are presented.

EPILEPTIC BEHAVIOR WITH A DISTINGUISHED PREICTAL PERIOD IN A LARGE-SCALE NEURAL NETWORK MODEL
PublicationWe present a neural network model capable of reproducing focal epileptic behavior. An important property of our model is the distinguished preictal state.
