Wykład omawia konfiguracje układów napędowych pojazdów z napędami tradycyjnymi i alternatywnymi. Zwraca się uwagę na zastosowanie podzespołów sterowanych elektronicznie zarówna w silnikach (głównie osprzęt silnika) jak i przekładniach i napędach elektrycznych. Omawiane są układy chłodzenia w napędach jak i wykorzystania ciepła odpadowego.
