2-Ethylhexyl 4-methoxycinnamate (EHMC) is one of the most commonly used sunscreen ingredient. Color prediction from first principle quantum chemistry computations: a case of alizarin dissolved in methanol
The electronic spectrum of alizarin (AZ) in methanol solution was measured and used as reference data for color prediction. The visible part of the spectrum was modelled by different DFT functionals within the TD-DFT framework. Distinguishing of cocrystals from simple eutectic mixtures: phenolic acids as potential pharmaceutical coformers
The multiparameter model comprising 1D and 2D QSPR/QSAR descriptors was proposed and validated for phenolic acid binary systems.
