Data recorded for the purpose of the 3D sound intensity visualization around the organ pipe (des sound)

Opis

The set contains data recorded using the Cartesian robot and multichannel acoustic vector sensor (from Microflown) for the purpose of the 3D sound intensity visualization of radiated acoustic energy around the organ pipe.

Each particle velocity sensor is sensitive in only one direction, therefore, three orthogonally placed particle velocity transducers are used. In combination with a pressure microphone, the sound field in a single point is fully characterized, and the acoustic intensity vector, which is the product of pressure and particle velocity, can be determined. This intensity vector indicates the acoustic energy flow.

The recording took place in the anechoic chamber, and the goal was to measure the sound propagated around the metal open organ pipe tuned to the des sound. The organ pipe was activated using the air-compressor. Thus, it was possible to obtain a long-term steady state response.

Spatial resolution of the measurements was 100 mm (0.1 m)

Ranges of the Cartesian robot arm were as follows:
-X axis: 0:1800 mm
-Y axis: 0:2000 mm
-Z axis: 100:-1000 mm
