The conducted immunity test of a power supply unit in the frequency range from 19 MHz to 26 MHz for the RF voltage level of 10 V

Opis

The dataset presents a result of measurements that are a part of immunity tests to conducted disturbances, induced by radio-frequency fields. The immunity tests were carried out on the mains cable of the DF1723003TC NDN power supply unit. Tests of immunity of electronic systems to conducted disturbances in the frequency range from 19 MHz to 26 MHz were performed under the requirements specified in the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards. Immunity tests were carried out for the RF voltage level of 10 V. The output voltage generated by the power supply unit was 1 V and 10 V respectively.

The source of the disturbance is an electromagnetic field coming from the integrated signal generator Teseq NSG 4070-45, equipped with a built-in 45 W class A power amplifier module. The coupling-decoupling network CDN M016 directly injects RF voltages into the cables under test. During the measurements, on the Rohde&Schwarz RTE 1102 oscilloscope, the differences in the shape of the voltage waveform from the output of the power supply unit to the reference waveforms recorded with the RF signal generator turned off were being observed. The power supply unit and the oscilloscope were connected to the network via artificial networks Rohde Schwarz ENV432. The measurement process was controlled by the WIN 6000 software installed on a personal computer connected to the signal generator via the IEEE488 interface. The test setup is shown in Fig.1.

The normative test procedure is carried out in the frequency range from 150 kHz to 230 MHz. The RF signal is modulated with a 1 kHz sinusoidal tone at 80% depth. By analyzing the results of standard immunity tests presented in [Kwiatkowski, M., & Pałczyńska, B. (2021). The conducted immunity test of a power supply unit in accordance with EMC standards [Data set]. Gdańsk University of Technology. https://doi.org/10.34808/s4e7-xw34], the frequency range from 19 MHz to 26 MHz was selected, in which the shape of the signal waveform from the output of the power supply unit differs most from the reference waveform. The immunity test procedure was carried out in the frequency range starting at 19 MHz and incrementing in 0.1% steps up to 26 MHz.

The attached files contain oscillograms showing the voltage waveforms at the output of the power supply unit that deviates the most from the reference waveform. Additionally, a table with the measurement results is included.
