Making leadership more agile in theory and practice. Working towards building a leadership agility model
Abstrakt
The article presents leadership taking into account agile practices that were taken from project management. The article provides a description of comprehensive leadership competencies that can be used in project practice. The publication begins with an indication of leadership in the light of current literature on the subject, an explanation of the characteristics of leadership and agile management practices. Then, it is determined how to find the application of agile leadership in an enterprise. This article also explains the possibilities of applying agile leadership based on the created prototype. The target model is intended to support managerial work in enterprises with a majority share of the State Treasury. For the purposes of the article, a quantitative study was conducted in the form of a structured personal questionnaire on a sample of 201 respondents in the period January 2022-December 2024. The conclusions resulting from the study indicate that the target model can support managers in decision-making and comprehensive department management in the company. The essence of the study is primarily to encourage managers to increase their awareness of managerial competences using the developed model. The entire publication is summarized by the conclusion and the list of literature.
