Abstrakt
There is considered the steam turbine governor operation during defense and restoration of the power system. It points out weaknesses of currently used governor structures. The new controller is proposed, that takes advantages of those curently used. The new controller allows for more effective control of the turbine in emergency situations, at frequencies much different from the nominal value.
