Abstrakt

Software development is people-intensive activity. Incorporation of human factors in empirical studies of software engineering can bring many benefits for both researchers and practitioners. Psychological inspirations can facilitate this task. In this paper, such incorporation is presented in the contexts of the objectives and problems in empirical studies, applicability of the results in the business context of software enterprise, and methodology of science. Methodological discussion and examples of psychological theories that can be applied in areas of the theory formulation for experimental studies, experimental design and conduct, drawing conclusions from empirical studies and making decisions about transfer of the empirical results to industry are included.Inspiracje psychologiczne mogą być zastosowane na wielu etapach prowadzenia eksperymentów w inżynierii oprogramowania. W artykule zostały opisane powyższe zastosowania kontekście: celów i problemów w doświadczalnej inżynierii oprogramowania, możliwości zastosowań rezultatów takich badań w firmach informatycznych oraz metodologii nauki.
