The paper discusses the performance and limitations of the universal constructor embedded in the DigiHive environment and presents the result of two simulation experiments showing the possibility of workaround the limitations.

Środowiskiem jest dwuwymiarowa przestrzeń, w której poruszają się, zderzają się i tworzą wiązania stosy sześciokatnych płytek. Na wyższym poziomie organizacji struktura płytek specyfikuje funkcje których realizacja zmienia struktury innych płytek w otoczeniu.
