    In this work, corrosion inhibition of the AZ31 magnesium alloy was investigated in NaCl solutions containing different amounts of sodium molybdate inhibitor. Electrochemical, hydrogen evolution, microscopic, and spectroscopic experiments were utilized to examine the mechanism of corrosion inhibition by molybdates.
