    Nagios is a free software for IT infrastructure monitoring. Out-of-the-box it is not suited for monitoring multi-agent systems, because agents may dynamically join and leave the system or change roles. But Nagios' flexible configuration makes extensions possible. This paper presents and verifies Nagios configuration and extensions for monitoring multi-agent systems.
