PublikacjaPrzeanalizowano operacje jednostkowe składające się na linię technologiczną kwasu cytrynowego otrzymywanego metodą fermentacji powierzchniowej i oczyszczanego metodą cytrynianową. Wykazano, że dla uzyskania dobrej jakości kryształów kwasu niezbędne jest oddzielanie organicznych szlamów z płynów pofermentacyjnego i pogrzybniowego przed rozpoczęciem obróbki chemicznej.

PublikacjaW pracy przedstawiono wybrane problemy związane z wykorzystaniem obliczeniowej dynamiki płynów (ang. CFD - Computational Fluid Dynamics)do obliczeń łożysk hydrodynamicznych. Omówione zostało zagadnienie przyjmowania rodzaju przepływu w analizie łożyska oraz przyjmowania warunków brzegowych dotyczących wymiany ciepła oraz problem zbieżności obliczeń.

PublikacjaRozważa się propagację płaskich fal ultraźwiękowych w materiale polikrystaklicznym np. stali zbudowanym z pojedynczych kryształów kubicznych o najwyższej symetrii. Rozkład orientacji poszczególnych kryształów jest nieizotropowy i opisany takimi charakterystykami statystycznymi (teksturą), które powodują , że własności mechaniczne i propagacyjne (akustyczne) makroskopowej próbki tego materiału posiadają symetrię ortorombową.

PublikacjaIn this paper, a volunteer grid called Comcute is studied. Moreover, the harmony search scheduler is proposed. This scheduler has been designed for efficient using some resources of volunteer grid. The harmony search scheduler optimizes both a workload of a bottleneck computer and the cost of grid.
