The objective of the course Spatial Planning is to teach the architects the key concepts of town planning as well as about its relationship with the architectural practice. The exercises are designed to familiarize the participants with the main concepts that directly impacts on the work of architects, regardless of their respective national context:
- planning control, role of the technical regulations and the planning permissions;
- zoning and regulatory planning;
- informal / operational planning;
Apart from the practical aspects we will discuss the general concepts and ideas, which are the foundation of the contemporary planning.
