Description

This is the histopathological image of STOMACH tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: VS200 Olympus slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Result of the histopathological examination: Mucinous adenocarcinoma high grade with focal endocrine differentiation features (CK 7 (+/-), CK 19 (+), CK 20 (+/-), CDX 2 (+), synaptophysin-focally (+), chromogranin (-), Her 2- (0)-negative. The neoplasm has tubular, solid, and trabecular architecture, with the presence of signet cells.
