Description

This is the histopathological image of COLON tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: VS200 Olympus slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Result of the histopathological examination: Colorectal adenocarcinoma low grade. The cancer infiltrates the muscular layer of the intestinal wall. No evidence of infiltration of fat tissue or exceeding of the serosa. The tumor grows into the blood vessels. Tumor budding grade 2 in the tumor front.
