Description

This is the histopathological image of KIDNEY tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Result of the histopathological examination: Samples from the right kidney present chronic passive hyperemia, edema lesions of proximal renal tubules with necrosis of single epithelial cells. Morphologically, renal glomeruli of the usual structure. There is an infiltration of neuroblastoma in the perirenal fat tissue.
