Description
This is the histopathological image of CERVIX UTERI tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Result of the histopathological examination: Cervical cone with extensive (covering both lips) glandular ectopy in the epithelization phase, with extensive chronic active inflammation. Within the parepidermal epithelium of the transformation zone, areas of moderate and high-grade dysplasia (CIN2 and HSIL / CIN 3, p16 (+)) can be seen.
