Description

This is the histopathological image of CERVIX UTERI tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Result of the histopathological examination: Exocervix, epithelial glandular ectopies with Naboth's cysts on the surface of both parts, HSIL (CIN 3 / CIS) in the transformation zone, with focal covering of the endocervical glands. LSIL dysplastic lesions in the parepidermal epithelium extend focally to the surgical margin of the mucosa from the side of the vaginal cuff.
