Description

This is the histopathological image of CONNECTIVE, SUBCUTANEOUS AND OTHER SOFT TISSUES tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Clinical description: 73 x 32 x 73 mm hipoechoic well-circumscribed tumor of abdominal cavity on ultrasound. MRI: suspicion of desmoid.

Classification code: FIBROMATOUS NEOPLASMS

Diagnosis: Desmoid type fibromatosis

Result of the histopathological examination: Desmoid type fibromatosis: Beta-catenin +, CyclinD1+, CKAE1/AE3-, SMA-, S100-, DOG1-, CD34-, AR focally+, Ki-67 1%.
