Description

This is the histopathological image of PAROTID GLANID tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Clinical description: Enlarged left parotid. 17x11 mm heterogenous tumor of left parotid on ultrasound. FNAC: atypical cells.

Classification code: MATURE B-CELL LYMPHOMAS

Diagnosis: Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, NOS

Result of the histopathological examination: DLBCL- complete architectural effacement of lymph node. Diffuse proliferation of atypical large lymphoid cells. Lymphoma cells: CD20+, CD10+, BCL2+/-, BCL-6+, CD3-, CD5-, MUM1-, C-MYC-, Ki-67 90%.
