Description

This is the histopathological image of OVARY tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Result of the histopathological examination: Right ovary with weaving of whitish bodies, small serous cysts, inclusion microcysts and endosalpingiosis foci. In the mesentery of the ovary weaving a hemangioma (probabiliter intravenous lobular capillary haemangioma) (CD34 (+), CD31 (+), F8 (+), SMA, (+), desmin (-)).
