Description
This is the histopathological image of BRONCHUS AND LUNG tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Result of the histopathological examination: Extensive areas of intraalveolar haemorrhages, oedema and diffuse alveolar damage (DAD) markers in the partial organization phase. In some of the samples, residual hyaline membranes are visible. There are blood clots in individual, small arteries.
