Description

This is the histopathological image of HEMATOPOIETIC AND RETICULOENDOTHELIAL SYSTEMS tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Clinical description: Patient with diagnosed CLL/SLL. Biopsy performed to assess infiltration of bone marrow.

Result of the histopathological examination: No lymphoma infiltrates are found in the biopsy Marrow with a cellularity of approx. 40%. Topography and maturation pathways of the main lines of hemopoiesis without significant deviations, M:E ratio as of 4:1. Megakaryocytes with normal distribution and morphology. Bone trabeculae without significant changes.
