Description

This is the histopathological image of BREAST tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Clinical description: 50 x 40 mm hypoechoic area of left breast on ultrasound. Suspicion of breast carcinoma.

Result of the histopathological examination: Invasive lobular breast carcinoma (e-cadherin-, p120 cytoplasmic reaction)): NHG2 (3+2+1: 1 mitosis per 10 HPF) (B5). Ki-67 20%.
