Description
This is the histopathological image of HEMATOPOIETIC AND RETICULOENDOTHELIAL SYSTEMS tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Result of the histopathological examination: In spleen tumor samples- weaving nature of inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor. The immunohistochemical profile of the lesion: SMA (focal +), Desmin (-), S100 (-), CD117 (-), ALK1 (-), CD31 and CD34 (focal +), CD68 and CD138 (focal +) in the inflammatory component. Lymph nodes with non-specific reaction changes are present in the adipose tissue of the spleen hilum.
