Description

This is the histopathological image of BREAST tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

The detailed information about the patient, sample, and diagnosis are as follows:

Clinical description: Left breast tumor. A fragment of the mammary gland measuring 7.5x7.8x4.6 cm. On sectioning, a hard, cream-colored tumor measuring 0.8x1x1.8 cm is visible. The resection margins are free.

Result of the histopathological examination: Invasive carcinoma of the breast NST G2. Nottingham score: tubule formation 3pts, nuclear atypia 2pts, mitotic activity: 2pts. Margins of resection are free.
