Description
This is the histopathological image of BREAST tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: VS200 Olympus slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Result of the histopathological examination: Invasive breast carcinoma of no special type, G2. Nottingham: tubular formation - 2 point, atypia -2 point, mitosis - 3 point. There was no neuro or angioinvasion. IHC: ER 8/8 (+++ in 80% of FQ), PR 5/8 (+++ in 25% of FQ), HER-2 1+ (negative), index Ki67 40-50%, e-cadherin + , p120 + (membranous and cytoplasmic). The infiltrate is located 2.5 mm from the front surgical margin and 3 mm from the surgical margin on the fascia. Additionally, foci of ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS), NG2, with solid, ethmoid and comedo-like necrosis, with visible microcalcifications. DCIS foci are approximately 1mm from the fascia surgical margin.
