Description

This is the histopathological image of BRONCHUS AND LUNG tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Clinical description: Patient with a tumor of the right upper lobe of the lung, 3,5 cm in diameter. The tumor was located peripherally, with parietal pleura invasion.

Result of the histopathological examination: TTF-1: nuclear positive reaction in both components of the carcinoma and in type II pneumocytes and Clara cells
