Description

This is the histopathological image of BREAST tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Result of the histopathological examination: There are numerous LCIS (Lobular carcinoma in situ / LN) foci, involving multifocally TDLU structures and confluent lesions of the adenosis type, in the samples of the dysplastic plate. The population of neoplastic lobular cells also involves some of the ductal structures, locally forming solid nests in them (florid LCIS). Intralobular neoplasia is present in all sections of the entire dysplastic plate. Positive staining for CK14 (+)
