Description

This is the histopathological image of BREAST tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Result of the histopathological examination: Infiltrating breast carcinoma (NST) partially micropapillary G3. The periphery of the cancer shows foci of angioinvasion and cancerisation. IHC: ER+(7/8), PR+(8/8), Ki67 index about 10%, HER2 (+2) status to be verified by ISH. Resection margins are free of cancer.
