Description

This is the histopathological image of CERVIX UTERI tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Result of the histopathological examination: Mucinous high-grade adenocarcinoma of the cervix. IHC: CK 7 (+), CK 20 focally (+), p16 (+), p53-status negative, p63-positive reaction in few cells, p40 (-), PAX 8 (-), ER (-), CEA- (+), chromogranin (-), synaptophysin (-), mucikarmin (+)). Cancer involves the cervix and extends focally to its radial margin.
