Description

This is the histopathological image of PROSTATE GLAND tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Result of the histopathological examination: Prostate adenocarcinoma Gleason G = 3 + 3. Grade Group1. The tumor covers: - <5% of the area in the right lobe, - <5% of the area in the left lobe. The surgical margins of the preparation are tumor free. There is no evidence of neuroinvasion or EPE. There are markers of nodular hyperplasia and PIN lesions in the gland.
