Description

This is the histopathological image of PROSTATE GLAND tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Clinical description: Suspected prostate carcinoma. PSA 7,8ng/ml. (left lobe)

Result of the histopathological examination: In the biopsy no 6 from the left lobe of the prostate adenocarcinoma was found (Gleason 4+3) covering 44% of the biopsy area. Neuro- and angioinvasion was not found..
