Description

Mercury intrusion porosimetry (MIP) data - curves of cement pastes containing Bi2O3/Gd2O3 and silica-coated Bi2O3/Gd2O3 structures

Measurement was performed using Quantachrome Poremaster 60. The mercury surface tension was set at 0.48 N/m and the contact angle was set to 140° upon intrusion. The specimens were placed into measurement cells and filled with mercury in a low-pressure chamber (to 0.34 MPa). Furthermore, the cells were inserted into a pressure chamber and subjected to high pressures (up to 413 MPa).
