Description

This is the histopathological image of PAROTID GLANID tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Clinical description: 5,5 x 3,7 cm solid tumor with cystic spaces in right parotid gland on ultrasound.

Diagnosis: Myoepithelioma, NOS

Result of the histopathological examination: Myoepithelioma: well-circumscribed tumor composed of cells without atypia, bland nuclei with grooves and nuclear cytoplasmic inclusions. No mitotic activity. CK7+, S100+, VIM+, Calponina +, SMA focally +, Ki-67 3%
