Description

This is the histopathological image of SMALL INTESTINE tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Clinical description: NET G1 in small intestine. 2,5 x 2,0 x 0,4 cm tumor in large intestine.

Result of the histopathological examination: NET G1: Mitotic index: 1 mitosis per 10 HPF. Ki-67 1%. SYN+, CHR+, CKAE1/AE3+. Foci of NET present in pericolic fatty tissue. Synaptophysin: positive cytoplasmic reaction.
