Description

This is the histopathological image of BRONCHUS AND LUNG tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Result of the histopathological examination: Pneumonia with hyaline membranes in the phase of partial resorption and organization, with active septal fibrosis in lung specimens. Intraalveolar haemorrhages. In addition, there are single blood clots in the vessels.
