Description

This is the histopathological image of LYMPH NODES tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Clinical description: 1,5 x 1,5 x 1,0 cm ulcerated tumor of stomach.

Diagnosis: Poorly cohesive carcinoma

Result of the histopathological examination: Gastric adenocarcinoma (poorly cohesive carcinoma) G3 (CKAE1/AE3+). Tumor invade serosa. Metastases to lymph nodes are present (13/19 lymph nodes) (CKAE1/AE3+).
