Rain Gardens SW quality dataset

Description

This dataset contains the results of parameters of storm water runoff and storm water quality in rain garden units. Samples were collected from 4 different rain gardens in Gdansk, Poland.

Physiochemical parameters (COD, TN, NO3-N, NO2-N, NH4-N, TP, PO4-P, pH, temp., conductivity, TSS, MSS, VSS, F-, Cl-, Br-, SO2 4-) and isolation of culturable bacteria (E. coli, Enterococci, mesophilic bacteria, and psychrophilic bacteria) in liquid samples are presented.

Parameters COD, TN, NO3-N, NO2-N, NH4-N, TP, PO4-P, Cl- in liquid samples were determined using cuvette tests (Hach Lange) in accordance with Polish Standards that are compatible with EU and US-EPA standards.

Ion chromatography (Metrohm Eco IC, Switzerland) was used to determine the concentration of F-, Cl-, Br-, SO2 4-, NO3-N, NO2-N, and PO4-P.

Funding: Data were produced under the Miniatura 6 research project [2022/06/X/ST8/00504] financed by the National Science Centre Poland.
