Specimen designation is associated with samples designation in the associated manuscript.

Sample Control - control cement paste

Sample BG - cement paste containing 10 wt% of pristine Bi2O3/Gd2O3 particles

Sample A - cement paste containing 10 wt% of silica-coated Bi2O3/Gd2O3 strucutres synthesized using method A

Sample B - cement paste containing 10 wt% of silica-coated Bi2O3/Gd2O3 strucutres synthesized using method B
