Description

This is the histopathological image of TESTIS tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Clinical description: A tumor of right testis, 1 cm in diameter. Tumor confined o testis, without angioinvasion.

Result of the histopathological examination: Sertoli cell tumor Tumor composed of cells with round/oval nuclei. Cytoplasm ranging from scant, foamy, eosinophilic to markedly lipidized. The epididymis is also seen.
