Description

This is the histopathological image of STOMACH tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Result of the histopathological examination: Tubular adenocarcinoma, enteric type, moderately differentiated (G2) of the stomach. The tumor infiltrates the entire thickness of the stomach wall and penetrates into the adipose tissue. Emboli made of cancerous cells are visible in the lymph vessels.
