Description

This is the histopathological image of TESTIS tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Result of the histopathological examination: In testicular tumor specimens, a seminoma is found without a non-seminoma malignancy component. Areas of necrosis have been identified within the tumor. Few neoplastic cells emboli in the lumen of lymph / blood vessels present. The neoplastic infiltration is focal, shallowly covers the whitish sheath, without invading the vaginal sheath. OCT 3/4 (+)
